Tuesday, May 6, 2025

FAB PARIS opens the season of major art fairs in autumn 2025 by bringing together some one hundred internationally renowned exhibitors in the nave of the Grand Palais from September 20 to 24.

The fair’s décor will be reinvented based on an original idea by Constance Guisset, a renowned designer, and a scenography by Sylvie Zerat.

“This forthcoming edition marks a great new chapter in the development of the fair. September is a wonderful month for the arts in Paris, with international collectors, curators and tourists converging on the city to take advantage of all it has to offer.”

Louis de Bayser,
President of FAB PARIS

Events at the heart of FAB Paris and outside the walls

The Musée Nissim de Camondo, guest of honour, will be organising an exclusive exhibition of its late 18th-century decorative arts collections for FAB PARIS.

Following in the footsteps of previous editions, the programme will also include a concert by the laureates of the Gautier Capuçon Foundation and an ‘Arts Week’ offering VIP visits to some twenty partner museums.

Loyal exhibitors and remarkable newcomers

The galleries Aaron, Applicat-Prazan, Jean-Christophe Charbonnier, Michel Descours, Xavier Eeckhout, Yann Ferrandin, De Jonckheere, Kevorkian, Léage, David Lévy, Alexis Pentcheff, La Présidence, Jean-Baptiste de Proyart, Rumbler, Sismann, Tarantino, Traits Noirs, Von Vertes, Dina Vierny, Florence de Voldère, who took part in last year’s show, will be joined by newcomers such as Galerie Vallois, Belgian gallerist Patrick Derom, Amsterdam and Milan-based jewellers VKD Jewels, and returning galleries Florian Kolhammer, Berès, Perrin and Mendes.

The galleries 1900-2000, Claes, Brimo de Laroussilhe, Georges-Philippe et Nathalie Vallois, newcomers to FAB PARIS, and bookseller Stéphane Clavreuil, will be putting on a joint exhibition curated by art historian Jean-Hubert Martin, former director of the Musée national d’Art Moderne (Centre G. Pompidou). The spirit of his famous exhibitions ‘Les magiciens de la terre’ (1989) and ‘Carambolages’ (2016), which delighted the public, will be brought back to life in this 140 m2 space, where objects from all horizons will be brought together, chosen by formal analogy.

“When the idea for this exhibition sprung, we first thought of staging it in one of our galleries but FAB Paris quickly became an evidence. It is the only fair in France representing our respective disciplines to the highest level” comments Georges-Philippe Vallois.

The centenary of the 1925 Exposition internationale des arts décoratifs et industriels modernes, which gave its name to the Art Deco style, will be sublimely celebrated on the spectacular stand of Galerie Vallois, a newcomer to FAB PARIS.
Maison Riondet will also be doing the honours, presenting a range of historic Art Deco jewellery and watches.
