Third concert of the Gautier Capuçon Foundation at FAB Paris

For the third consecutive year, FAB Paris invites artists from the Gautier Capuçon Foundation to perform a concert at the fair.
It will take place on Saturday, September 20, 2025 at 8:00 PM in the Nave of the Grand Palais featuring a duo performance by Elise Bertrand, violin, and Gabriel Durliat, piano.
! A special ticket will be issued for this occasion:

A voucher is given at the entrance, allowing access to the concert once the tour has been completed.

Elise Bertrand
Born in 2000, Élise Bertrand began playing piano at age 5, violin at 8, and composition at 11. Trained at the CRR of Toulon and then Paris, she obtained masters degrees in violin and chamber music from the Paris Conservatory (CNSMDP), while continuing her writing studies.
Artist-in-residence at the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel since 2022, she receives support from the Safran and L’Or du Rhin foundations. She plays a 1796 Joseph Gagliano violin and is currently pursuing her doctoral studies at the Paris Conservatory. She performs as a soloist with the Conservatory Laureates Orchestra (OLC) at the Cité de la musique in Szymanowski’s 2nd concerto in 2025.
Nominated for the 2024 Victoires de la Musique as “Instrumental Soloist Discovery,” Élise Bertrand excels in violin, chamber music, and composition. Her solo repertoire spans from Vivaldi to her own works, which she performs with prestigious ensembles. Her compositions, published by Billaudot and Klarthe, are regularly commissioned and broadcast on France Musique, Radio Classique, and Arte Concert.
Gabriel Durliat
Born in Bourges in 2001, Gabriel Durliat entered the Paris Conservatory at age 16 after winning the general high school competition in Music Education. There, he studied with renowned professors and received multiple awards with highest distinctions.
In 2022, he was admitted to the doctoral program while also perfecting his skills at the Jaroussky Academy. That same year, he was selected for the Malko International Academy for Young Conductors in Copenhagen, where he received guidance from leading conductors such as Fabio Luisi and Herbert Blomstedt.
As assistant conductor of the Ensemble intercontemporain for a production of Gérard Grisey’s Acoustic Spaces at the Paris Philharmonie in 2023, he also won several international competitions: After becoming the first French musician to win the Piano Campus International Competition in February 2022, he won second prize at the Hans von Bülow competition for conducting from the piano in May 2023.
Gabriel Durliat performs regularly with orchestra, in recital and chamber music, and accepts invitations to prestigious venues. His first solo album Bach-Fauré was released in 2024.

The Gautier Capuçon Foundation
The mission of the Gautier Capuçon Foundation is to support and accompany exceptional young musicians in the early stages of their career.
Its action revolves around three axes:
- awarding study grants to allow them to pursue their studies and improve their skills in France or abroad;
- programming concerts and opening acts for established musicians’ concerts;
- recording and producing an album.
