De Jonckheere

Specialising in the study and sale of Flemish paintings dating from the 15th to 17th centuries, De Jonckheere founded its gallery in Brussels in 1976. It subsequently opened a gallery in Paris 1983. Its various collections are presented to the most demanding connoisseurs, in particular at the main antique art fairs such as the Paris Biennale des Antiquaires (since 1978), BRAFA, TEFAF in Maastricht and Frieze Masters.

In April 2011, De Jonckheere Gallery opened a new space in the heart of Geneva’s historical centre at 7 Rue de l’Hôtel-de-Ville, which has become the main hub of its activity. Since then, and since the 2012 Biennale, the presentation of both antique and modern works have distinguished the two facets of its activity.

Led by Georges and François De Jonckheere, the gallery is committed to art history research and sharing the knowledge it has acquired over its 50 years in activity. Therefore, in 2022,  it launched a major programme to digitise its entire archive.
