GALERIE MENDES

Philippe Mendes opened the Galerie Mendes in Paris in 2007, with a particular interest in French, Italian and Spanish painting from the 16th to the 19th centuries. He is also committed to presenting and raising awareness of Portuguese art, to which he has devoted several exhibitions.

About twice a year, Philippe Mendes organises a thematic exhibition that bears witness to his passion and rigour for exceptional works. A catalogue, written in collaboration with eminent experts and curators, accompanies one of these exhibitions. He regularly collaborates with museums and institutions, sensitive to the unpublished works that have made his reputation.
