As part of FAB Paris – Fine Arts La Biennale 2025, Galerie Jacques Elbaz is pleased to present a group show of historical and contemporary works by influential artists on the French scene such as Jean-Pierre Pincemin, François Rouan, Monique Frydman and Christian Bonnefoi.

Founded in Paris in 1994, Galerie Jacques Elbaz specializes in modern and contemporary art.

With the space opposite the Tuileries Gardens now closed, Jacques Elbaz continues to present the artists he has always championed, at fairs (Art Paris, Salon du Dessin, FAB Paris – Fine Arts La Biennale) and in collaboration with other galleries, public and private institutions.

Monique Frydman is a French painter born in 1943 in Nages in the Tarn region.

She graduated from the Beaux-Arts in Toulouse and lives either in Paris or in Senantes in the Eure-et-Loire where she has her studio.

She studied at the Beaux-Arts School in Toulouse before moving to Paris in 1964.

She stopped painting from 1968 to 1972 and returned to painting first through drawing practice.

During this period, we witness the progressive erasure of the figure, its disappearance, leaving only the emerging line, then the explosion of color, increasingly present, luminous, invading the canvas surface, evok
