Established in 1987, the gallery l’Horizon Chimérique specializes in the sale of works of art (drawings, paintings, sculptures) and archives to collectors, as well as to French and foreign public institutions.

Over a period of thirty years, over two hundred paintings, drawings, graphic works, and sometimes entire collections of drawings or documents, have joined institutions such as the Musée d’Orsay, the Musée Carnavalet, the Musée du Petit-Palais, the Maison de Victor Hugo, the J. Paul Getty Museum, the Wolfsonian in  Miami, through our efforts.

At the same time, we have fed the passion of many collectors who have often become friends. And we have contributed to the rediscovery of artists by whom we have uncovered major groups of works. Among these are Georges Dorignac, Georges and Yvonne Préveraud de Sonneville, Jean-Désiré Bascoulès, Pierre Théron, the watercolourist Pierre Vignal, the satirist Chaval.
