Galerie Patrick Derom

Founded in 1986 by Patrick Derom, the gallery initially specialized in art from the late 19th century to the 1950s, with a particular focus on Symbolism and Surrealism. Today, Edouard Derom and Christine de Schaetzen have joined the gallery as directors.

The gallery follows a rigorous artistic vision, combining historical depth with a contemporary perspective. Artists such as Léon Spilliaert, James Ensor, and René Magritte occupy a central place in its history.

Over the years, the gallery has also turned its attention to postwar and contemporary art, exhibiting artists such as Pol Bury, Lucio Fontana, Sol LeWitt , Christian Dotremont, and Fabienne Verdier, as well as major movements including ZERO, Pop Art, Op Art, and Minimal Art.
