From father to son, grandson and even great-grandson, the Clavreuil family has been working as antiquarian booksellers in the heart of Saint-Germain-des-Prés for more than a century now.
Although Stéphane Clavreuil trained in Paris, it is in London that he has chosen to base his expertise. To make an appointment with Stéphane Clavreuil Rare Books is to go and meet manuscripts and first editions related to the history of ideas, human sciences and the great medical, scientific and geographical discoveries.
Each antique book chosen and defended by Stéphane Clavreuil allows, by its condition and its impact in history, to abolish time between an author and his future collector.
