Ditesheim & Maffei, a history of artistic commitment since 1972
Founded in 1972 by François Ditesheim, the gallery has established itself as a leading reference in Swiss and international art. Its presence at major art fairs, notably Art Basel, as well as its association with Jan Krugier in Geneva (1989–2006), have contributed to its strong reputation.
Since 2012, Patrick Maffei, partner and collaborator since 2005, has continued to develop Ditesheim & Maffei alongside François Ditesheim, maintaining a balance between heritage and a contemporary perspective. Photography also holds an important place, regarded as a medium in its own right that the gallery actively supports and promotes.
