An exceptional collaboration
for FAB Paris 2025
For this first collaboration with FAB Paris, Constance Guisset brings her “pencil flights” to Sylvie Zerat‘s scenography, thus creating an unprecedented dialogue between two complementary artistic universes.
The designer grows colorful arches echoing the lines of the Grand Palais, thus connecting the scenography volumes and their setting. The central arches draw an oasis in the fair’s excitement. “Between village square and collector’s observatory”, this space encourages breaks and exchanges.
This intervention fits into Constance Guisset’s usual approach of designing spaces that encourage encounters. Her colorful arches, conceived echoing the lines of the Grand Palais, create strategic pause moments at the heart of the event. This approach responds to one of the fundamental roles of an art fair: encouraging dialogue between collectors, gallerists, and enthusiasts, which constitutes the very essence of the event.
The complicity between scenographer and designer creates an organic harmony, both in forms and colors, for total immersion. This collaboration allows conceiving an environment that accompanies artwork discovery while respecting their enhancement.
Constance Guisset,
a multifaceted creator
Constance Guisset perfectly embodies the contemporary inventive spirit, one that transcends boundaries between artistic disciplines.
Her unconventional background for a designer reveals a singular approach to creation. After studying at ESSEC and Sciences Po Paris, followed by a formative stint at the Tokyo Parliament, she chose to turn toward design and enrolled at ENSCI – Les Ateliers, graduating in 2007.

This hybrid training now nourishes her conceptual philosophy, marked by a constant search for balance between ergonomics, delicacy and imagination.
Her objects, genuine attempts to explore the incarnation of movement through lightness or surprise, defend a requirement of comfort and hospitality for bodies and their gestures. A vision that quickly earned her international recognition: as early as 2008, she received the Grand Prix du Design de la Ville de Paris, the Public Prize at the Design Parade at Villa Noailles, and two project grants from VIA. In 2021, she received the Medal from the Fondation Académie d’Architecture 1977.

Constance Guisset’s polyvalence constitutes one of her major strengths. From product design to scenography, including interior architecture and even children’s book illustration, she navigates with ease between artistic disciplines.
Her creations are now in the collections of Centre Georges Pompidou, FNAC, and CNAP, testifying to their artistic and heritage value.
For prestigious brands like Petite Friture, Moustache, Pierre Frey, Dior, Zanotta, and Van Cleef & Arpels, she designs pieces that combine technical innovation with visual poetry.
Since 2009, Constance Guisset has realized stage designs for several shows, notably those for Angelin Preljocaj’s ballets, Laurent Garnier’s concert at Salle Pleyel, and the Everyness choreography by Wang Ramirez company.
She also imagines exhibition scenographies for the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, the musée du quai Branly, and the Palais des Beaux-Arts in Lille. In 2021, she designed the permanent scenography for the Philharmonie des enfants within the Philharmonie de Paris and that of the modern art museum in Fontevraud.
