Second edition of the
CPGA–Fine Arts Paris Prize
Created in 2025, this prize embodies the shared commitment of the The Professional Committee of Art Galleries and the Fine Arts Paris fair to support galleries and to highlight their essential role in the artistic landscape.
The CPGA–Fine Arts Paris Prize 2026 will be awarded on Friday 18 September 2026 at 5.30 pm at the Grand Palais.
What is the CPGA–Fine Arts Paris Prize?
The CPGA–Fine Arts Paris Prize recognises the stand that combines originality and high standards. The quality of the works presented remains a criterion in its own right, which the jury continues to assess with its own rigour beyond the fair’s selection.
On this basis, it rewards the boldness of a perspective, the effort to maintain coherence in assembling an ensemble, the care devoted to presentation, and the strength of a clearly stated vision- without ever compromising on the quality of what is exhibited.

About
the Professional Committee of Art Galleries
Since 1947, the Professional Committee of Art Galleries ensures for its members, gallery owners of the first or second market, from antique dealers to contemporary art galleries, a union role of information, advice and defense of common interests with the competent authorities.
It promotes the central role of galleries in the artistic and cultural environment by relying on their specificities, their expertise, their work to promote artists or artistic trends.
The Committee thus maintains lasting relationships with all private and public stakeholders in the art world and takes part in the development of market regulations, fostering the growth of the entire sector. The Committee informs and advises its 330 member galleries on the specificities of their status, their duties and obligations, and assists them in technical matters.
For several years, the Professional Committee of Art Galleries has been involved in major cultural events in order to build a better visibility of art galleries, true partners of artistic creation. It also works to develop the French art scene internationally.
