Founded in 1999 by Nicolas Andrin, a long-time collector and internationally recognised expert in Australian Aboriginal art, Aborigène Galerie is located in the heart of Saint-Germain-des-Prés at 46 rue de Seine, Paris.

Through decades of close relationships with senior Aboriginal custodians, artists and community leaders, Nicolas Andrin has gained a rare understanding of the spiritual depth, ancestral narratives and sacred symbolism embodied in each work of art.

The gallery is exclusively devoted to the first generation of contemporary Australian Aboriginal artists, whose historic emergence began in the early 1970s.

Aborigène Galerie presents major paintings, bark paintings, sculptures and ceremonial objects by leading artists including Emily Kame Kngwarreye, recently honoured with a major retrospective at Tate Modern, London (2025–2026); Sally Gabori, exhibited at the Fondation Cartier, Paris (2022); Kaapa Mbitjana Tjampitjinpa, Rover Thomas, Clifford Possum Tjapaltjarri, Billy Stockman Tjapaltjarri, Ronnie Tjampitjinpa, Tim Leura Tjapaltjarri, Paddy Bedford, Ningura Napurrula, Kathleen Petyarre, Dorothy Napangardi, John Mawurndjul, Johnny Warangkula Tjupurrula, Mick Namarari, Eubena Nampitjin, Queenie McKenzie, and Turkey Tolson Tjupurrula.
