Karen Swami - Karen Swami Céramiques

Born in Paris, Karen Swami discovered ceramics at the age of five and trained early in the art of working with clay. Over the years, she has developed a ceramic language defined by pure forms, mineral textures, and a constant search for balance between simplicity and elegance.

Her encounter with Christian Liaigre marked a decisive turning point, leading to numerous collaborations with prestigious houses, architects, and international collectors. For more than fifteen years, her work has revolved around the art of accident and, in particular, the philosophy of kintsugi.

Today, her work is exhibited in Paris, London, Brussels, New York, and San Francisco, as well as at prestigious fairs such as Design Miami, Art Paris, and PAD Paris and London.

With her Constellation, Karen Swami develops a subtle and precious surface treatment in which the material seems to vibrate under the light.

The delicate nuances and glazed motifs evoke a mineral constellation, giving each piece a soft and luminous presence.
