At 64, Philippe Bismuth, a recognized gallerist and expert in modern art, launches Philippe Bismuth Expertise, a structure dedicated to tailored guidance in the art world.
A graduate of the École du Louvre, he brings nearly forty years of experience: international auction houses, independent expertise (notably for the Crédit Municipal de Paris), co-founding of a Parisian gallery, and direction of a framing workshop.
He has participated in numerous fairs in France and abroad. Now based in a family apartment converted into a reception and working space, he offers a global, refined, and rigorous approach, grounded in a discerning selection of modern works.
For the 2025 edition of FAB, he will present a selection of paintings and sculptures “from Edgar Degas to Gérard Schlosser,” with human representation as the central theme of his booth— bringing together major names and sensitive discoveries.
