Xavier Eeckhout takes over as president of Fine Arts Paris, which has just successfully concluded its latest edition and will now be held annually at the Grand Palais during the second half of September.

The event has reverted to the more explicit and international name of Fine Arts Paris, dropping the reference to the B for biennale for this annual event.

The next edition will be held from 19 to 23 September 2026 at the Grand Palais, with Le Musée du Grand Siècle as guest of honour.

 

2025 Edition

FAB Paris kicked off the 2025 art fair season by bringing together around 100 internationally renowned exhibitors under the roof of the Grand Palais from 20 to 24 September.

Its FABulous programme:

  • Around a hundred international art galleries in 20 specialities.
  • A redesigned setting based on an original idea by Constance Guisset and scenography by Sylvie Zerat.
  •  An exclusive exhibition of around sixty major works from the Musée Nissim de Camondo, curated by Alexandre Benjamin Navet.
  • Favourites of designers and decorators, including Jean-Charles de Castelbaljac, Timothy Corrigan, Nathalie Crinière, François-Joseph Graf, Constance Guisset, Pier-Luigi Pizzi, Jean-Michel Wilmotte and Charles Zana.
  • A spectacular tribute by the Galerie Vallois to the centenary of Art Deco within the Grand Palais itself, where the movement was consecrated during the International Exhibition of Modern Decorative and Industrial Arts in 1925.
  • 50 masterpieces of modern art (Picasso, Magritte, Giacometti, etc.) from exceptional sources unveiled by Galerie Landau (Canada/Switzerland)
  • ‘Beautés Désordonnées’ (Disordered Beauties), a joint exhibition bringing together 140 pieces from the 1900-2000, Brimo de Laroussilhe, Georges Philippe and Nathalie Vallois, Didier Claes and Stéphane Clavreuil galleries, curated by art historian Jean-Hubert Martin, former director of the Musée National d’Art Moderne (Centre G. Pompidou) in the spirit of Carambolages.
  • 100 studios, 100 artists The French scene, a preview exhibition of some thirty photographs from Antoine Schneck‘s series, revealing multiple portraits of artists in their studios.
  • A Young Talents space designed by young architect and designer Edgar Jayet.
  • A concert by the winners of the Gautier Capuçon Foundation
  • The prize for the most beautiful stand awarded by the CPGA, partner of FAB PARIS
  • Live restoration of a painting by Hippolyte Lazerges from the Chapelle de la Sorbonne by the COARC (Conservation des œuvres d’art religieuses et civiles) – Ville de Paris
  • An Arts Week offering exclusive VIP tours of around twenty partner museums.

2024 Edition

Under the glass roof of the Grand Palais, 100 exhibitors gathered for the 2024 edition of FAB Paris, from November 22nd to 27th, 2024. More than 25% of them were newcomers and one-third were foreign dealers from 9 different countries. Together, they represented nearly 20 specialties.

Over the course of six days, the event welcomed over 30,000 visitors.

2023 Edition

In 2023, Fine Arts Paris & La Biennale became FAB Paris.
The salon was held at the Grand Palais Éphémère from November 22nd to 26th, 2023, where it brought together 110 exhibitors from 12 countries representing 12 specialties.

2022 Edition

In February 2022, two leading French art fairs – the venerable Biennale, one of the world’s oldest art fairs (formerly known as La Biennale des Antiquaires) and the fast- growing Fine Arts Paris – announced that they had merged to create a new annual flagship event in Paris celebrating art from the Antiquity to present day.

The same year, the inaugural edition of Fine Arts Paris & La Biennale took place at the prestigious Carrousel du Louvre.
A showcase of art, culture, savoir-faire and heritage, Fine Arts Paris & La Biennale presented in 2022, with  86 internationally renowned galleries and talented young dealers a carefully selected artworks spanning no fewer than 14 categories, including Antiquities, Old Masters, Antique Furniture, Modern & Contemporary Art, Tapestries, Ceramics, Jewellery but also Tribal Art, Asian Art, Islamic Art and Books & Manuscripts.

History of Fine Arts Paris

Created in 2017 by the organizers of the Salon du dessin, Fine Arts Paris is a specialties fair for collectors based on the balance of diversity, quality and modernity.
It became an unmissable event in the art market…
